Terms of Service

Last updated July 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AITerest (the "Service"), including the AITerest app and the public website at https://aiterest.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What AITerest is

AITerest lets you save links ("pins") into collections ("boards"), and gives an AI assistant access to what you save so it can read that content, discuss it with you in conversation, and help you recall it later. Some content you save can be made public and shown on the public website or search engines; the rest stays private to your account, governed by the visibility settings you choose (see Section 5).

2. Your account

You need an account to save pins. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including content saved by any AI agent acting on your behalf (see Section 4).

3. Content you save

You keep ownership of the links, notes, and boards you save. By saving content and marking it public, you give AITerest permission to display it on the public website, generate preview metadata for it, and include it in AI-generated tags or notes associated with your account.

You're responsible for what you save and share. Don't save or publish content you don't have the right to save, and don't use the Service to store or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights.

AITerest saves a link and metadata about it (title, description, a preview image) — it does not copy, host, or redistribute the underlying page itself. Visiting a saved link takes you to the original source.

4. The AI features

AITerest's AI features work by giving an AI assistant controlled access to your saved pins so it can read them and discuss them with you, mark items as read, and organize them into lists on your request. This access is gated by a private credential tied to your account and is intended for your own use — treat any such credential like a password.

AI output (summaries, tags, or discussion) is generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Don't rely on it as a substitute for reading the original source when accuracy matters.

5. Public and private content

Boards and pins each have a visibility setting, and your whole profile has a master visibility setting that overrides individual board/pin settings when set to private. Content you mark public is discoverable on the public website and may be indexed by search engines — once indexed elsewhere, removing it from AITerest may not remove cached or indexed copies immediately or at all. When in doubt, keep it private.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others
  • Attempt to access another user's account or private content
  • Abuse, scrape, or overload the Service or its APIs
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service's security
  • Use the Service for anything illegal

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. To request account or data deletion, contact us at info@clutchdeveloper.com — self-service deletion isn't available in the app yet.

8. The Service is provided as-is

AITerest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AITerest isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
